Do Flatpackers Uk Ltd operate in my area?
Flatpackers established in 2000. Our goal is to continue to remain the market leader, providing our quality, value for money service, on a National scale.

NOTE: Flatpackers Uk Ltd assembles flat-packed furniture in all the above areas, and smaller locations therein, do call if you are outside the M25 and we will do our best to accommodate you.  Our market leading rates are the same irrespective of location.

When can I have my furniture assembled?
Normal assembly times are 9.00am until 5.00 pm.   Seven Days A Week.   Appointments outside our normal work hours may be arranged....we will do our very best to accomodate you.

Can I specify a time for an assembly?
You can specify a time outside our normal working hours but this will be dependant on our fitter and his workload. Flatpackers UK Ltd can normally have a fitter at your address 24-72 hours from the time of your initial inquiry.

How long will the assembly take?
As each piece of furniture is different, so will its construction be different. Because of this we cannot commit to an exact time frame. We have however assembled copious amounts of furniture and will be able to give you an estimated time if we have assembled your particular item in the past. However even though technicians may work at different completion rates, the Assembly Charge you are quoted for any stated piece of furniture is the price you pay.

What happens if the technician discovers parts missing or defective during an assembly?
Our technician will help you. With your furniture there should be a manufacturers/ retailers customer service telephone number to use if parts are missing or defective. The part should be sent directly to you. When it arrives call your local call centre on 01784 477420 and re-schedule the appointment. You will only be charged for the time spent at your premises. You will not be charged our minimum charge of 28.00 twice.

Will the technician move the furniture?
On delivery of your furniture we ask that you have it placed in the room that it is to be assembled prior to our technicians arrival. We would also ask that there is enough space in the room to carry out the assembly. Although our technicians work quickly and carefully it is also wise to remove any fragile objects such as ornaments, vases, lampshades etc to help prevent any unforeseen eventuality. On completion of the assembly our technician will move the new furniture to your desired position.

Will the technician remove the empty packaging?
Our technicians cannot take the empty packaging with them. They will however break them down and put them out as garbage for you.

Is there a minimum charge for an assembly?
Yes. Our rates are 7.00 per 15 minutes with a very competitive minimum charge within the first hour of 28.00.

How do I pay for your services?
The technician will collect payment on completion of the assembly. We accept cash or cheque supported by a cheque guarantee card. Flatpackers Uk Ltd does not accept credit card payment at this time.
